Healing Is A Given!

23. JCH5: 1-9

The healing at the pool of Bethesda was a seasonal one but CHRIST came to offer this man a healing that was available in all seasons. The man was full of complain and excuses because his 38 years experience had made him loose hope but CHRIST showed and gave him Hope. He was looking for a man to help but there came someone whose help is all that mankind would ever need.

22. JCH4: 43-54

The Galileans did not receive the testimony of CHRIST until they saw the wonder and miracles He performed in Jerusalem. They did not honour HIM by believing that He was truly sent from GOD as He was proclaiming all around Judea and Samaria. He was too familiar to them that they could not honour HIM by believing in His Words. They could not honour HIM until they saw what He could do and the power He wielded.

HIS Will Is My Meal . . .

HIS Will Is My Meal . . .

21. JCH4: 31-38

Doing the will of the FATHER is what we are to live for and not the pleasures of this world that are present before us. The time for pleasure or meat must come after we have satisfied our appetite for doing the will of the FATHER. In truth, the only pleasure He wants us to have stems from giving Him pleasure by doing whatever He needs us to do . . .

First Things First . . .

First Things First . . .

20. JCH4: 25-30; 39-42

The woman heard CHRIST say to her that He was the Messiah and all she did was to leave CHRIST, her Waterpot and run into the city to proclaim CHRIST. She had not settled her case with CHRIST before going out to proclaim CHRIST that she had not fully encountered enough to change her life for good. CHRIST only introduced Himself and she went on without settling her case before Him. She was unlike Andrew who first knew where CHRIST stayed before he went to call Peter.

Although this Samaritan woman was responsible for directing people to CHRIST, she was unable to take part of the blessings the people she called to CHRIST received. She was only concerned with spreading the news with no regards to what would happen to her after all is said and done.

Our lives must first be presented before GOD so that He can purge us and make us clean even as we go out to proclaim HIM. He must sort us as we go to shine in the world for why should we appear to the world when our light is not 100% Pure . . .

We should stay with HIM enough before we introduce HIM to the people because it is in staying with HIM that others would be attracted to HIM more without endangering our own relationship with HIM.

Even though people would come to see HIM, He would still need to be through with us after they have come and gone. If we do not allow HIM to wash us clean before and after we go out to proclaim HIM, our relationship with HIM would suffer and it is our relationship with HIM that will sustain us not the works. This does not mean that our works are not important but they must all come after He must have sorted us out where necessary.

LORD! As you are using me to direct people to You, do not let me lose your communion in the process. Please hold on to me so I would not wander away in the name of proclaiming Your name.

19. JCH4: 15-24

Before CHRIST could give the Samaritan woman the living water she was asking for despite her refusal to quench CHRIST’s thirst, there was a need for CHRIST to address something in her life. But after CHRIST told her about her infidelity all her conclusion was that CHRIST was a prophet. She was busying examining CHRIST based on the immediate benefits without checkmating GOD’s words with her life so as to repent from her ways.

Because her life was not right by GOD, she could not offer true worship to GOD because true worship must start from who we are before it comes to what we can offer HIM.

When GOD wants to make our lives pleasing to Him or even bless us, He makes sure that our lives are changed according to His will before anything. Attempt to make our lives His pleasure without address the unGODliness therein will only lead to irritation more and more. In the same vein, He does not want His blessings to meet anything that is not of HIM in us.

What He blesses us with is His Spirit in us that speaks to our spirit in order to help us know what to do at specific points in time. Nurturing the spirit GOD gave us by obeying all His instructions as stated by His Word (Truth) and led by His Spirit without addition or subtraction is the True Worship!

Worship comes from our relationship with GOD which means that GOD would only accept whatever we have come to offer if our lives are pleasing to Him.

LORD! May I always be led expressly by Your Spirit so my live can be an embodiment of Your Truth!

18. JCH4: 1-14

There was a demand here from CHRIST to the Samaritan woman: “Give me water to drink.” The LORD is demanding the same from us this day. He wants us to quench His thirst. Out of what we have which actually belongs to HIM, He is saying:

“Give (Devote) your water (life) to me. Your salvation is a guaranteed that you have offered your life to Me.”

17. JCH 3: 26-30

How do we always feel when people that always come to us are now matured enough to turn to the LORD themselves; when they no longer seek us to relay to them what GOD is telling us about them?

We have been playing the role of the friend to the Bridegroom but finally, the bride gets to meet the Groom. What will be our reaction or response when all that we receive from the Bride and Groom with respect to the mediatorial relationship is diminishing by the day?

16. JCH 3: 14-21

GOD had raised CHRIST for people to behold Him and accept Him like Moses’ serpent. To aid their belief, He performed miracles that could only be traced to GOD. All they needed to do was believe that CHRIST was the son of GOD and that He came from GOD to bring salvation and eternal life. CHRIST did His part perfectly according to the Father’s will. When the serpents came to the camp of the Israelites and started biting them because of their sins, GOD told Moses to make a bronze serpent and put it on a tree that whosoever looks on to it should be saved. 15. JCH 3:1-13; JCH 3: 31-36

Being born again comes from our belief and confession that CHRIST is the Son of GOD, our LORD and Saviour. Then we will begin to have knowledge about HIM and also know why He saved us and what He saved us into. His kind of nature (His Spirit like a baby) would have been deposited in us who are supposed to be fed like babies. As new born babies, we would see and recognize his Kingdom but we would not be able to enter therein because we have not fed on the Water and the Spirit has not been leading us.

COMMITMENT

COMMITMENT

14, JCH 2: 23-25

CHRIST was not a cruel man not to commit himself to the people. This is because their belief was a function of His miracles and even though they were sincerely committed to Him, His trust was solely in GOD and never bank on men for anything. He was only proving the truth that man should not be given commitment when GOD is in the middle of things. Whatever GOD is doing must not be committed to people unless GOD asks us to.
