The Old . . . The New

It is quite sad when people follow the way of error knowing fully that the end is not what was in their mind before they set out for the journey. People see death, doom, destruction and despair but instead of turning back to the right way, they prepare themselves so as to withstand these things. Why prepare against what is set to destroy you no matter how you try to avoid or fight it?

Then I realized that it takes a heart that is preserved from the corruption of the old ways to turn and follow the new way the heart has been preserved for. It is only a heart that is preserved by righteousness that can be saved from the way that leads to death and destruction.

For the new to be established, it takes a preserved heart that knows and understands the ways of the old but not corrupted or tainted by it. It is upon these hearts that the foundation of the new shall be established. These preserved hearts are the embodiment of the transition between the old and the new; they live everyday with the future of what the new will look like in their hearts and they began to act like it from now . . .

The old we know and celebrate will soon be obsolete! And that is why the preserved hearts are always viewed to be lunatics or worse because they wail vehemently while we laugh and merry. They know the evil to come and how the old would be no more but we on the other side are to blind to see; we live like every other day will be today.

They cry for that day and what should come of it: levelling of the valleys, lowering of the mountains even as the crooked paths of men are made straight and everybody shall see how perverted his/her way is and how judgement will prevail over all that fail to preserve their hearts for the emergence of the new.

The New is a blessing only to those who are preserved or to the new. The preserved would be glad to start all over again in joy and gladness of heart while the new will navigate effortlessly because the way is already paved.

Mindset: Language

Have you ever wondered what really happened at Babel? Well, I have a theory 🙂

I think what happened was the shift in mindsets of people. GOD knew that the spirit of man is the same. HE realized that what is necessary to disrupt what the men at Babel were doing was to tweak their minds differently.

The mind is what is necessary for attributing sound and form to what the spirit is trying to communicate through the mouth/the body. Words are not initially words, they are elements of communication of the spirit and the form words take depends on the mindset.

So for a man who has the new Spirit which is a gift from GOD, the mind need to be renewed in order to communicate what the Spirit is saying. So for a man to be said to have the mind of CHRIST, HOLY SPIRIT must be the umpire or the connection between the new Spirit and the old mind in need of restoration. The body is just a vessel that is capable of taking the form of any available communication element.

. . . . . . . . .

One of the things that indicates the growth of a country, is the evaluation and modification of his language-how the language evolves over time due to concurrent use of it . . . So for a country using another country’s language as a medium of communication, development will be hard to realize because they are not operating according to their mindset. At least, a country must be given the liberty to learn ideas and new things in his own language. He might then communicate it in another language.
It is another level of shift of mindset entirely! GOD had already shifted our mindsets so as to avoid unity in disobedience to HIM. Now some countries are shifting other people’s mindset so as to gain control over them.

HOLY SPIRIT is the one that changes the mindset of man to the mindset of GOD (in CHRIST) and for a country to be successful on his own, he must operate base on his original mindset as designed/shifted by GOD.

Efforts and Blessings

What is the reward of effort?-Blessings?

I humbly disagree!

Haven’t you heard that the reward of work is more work? No?!

Many people would disagree and affirm that the reward of work is blessings; convenience and luxury but there is a clear distinction between convenience/luxury and blessing. Blessing is more of an empowerment through provision of resources in order to be more responsible in a particular circle of influence.

The more your effort, the more the blessings you get; the more blessings you get, the more the work you get in return. . . it is like a cycle of events which can be likened to moving in a spring-like form upwards or forward; you are moving in a similar form but in each subsequent stage, the stakes are higher.

At least that is my own human perspective . . .

In GOD’s perspective efforts and blessing cannot be separated. Many people come to GOD hoping that HE would bless their hustles, hassles, or efforts but what HE wants is that the efforts of every man be embodiment of blessings.

The truth is that if whatever you do is a result of your relationship with GOD, you are already a blessed man. Any opportunity to please GOD is blessing in its entirety. You do not need to come to GOD so that HE can bless what you think is good; stay with HIM and your effort will be blessing in itself.

The Shepherd is a Lion!

I wrote in one of my previous posts that sharp contrast is the absolute balance if there is anything called balance in walking with GOD because the systems driving this world are by an infinite gap parallel to the Creator of the same world.

I was also remembered of this truth today as I was thinking of posting this afternoon. In a TV programme I was watching sometimes ago, a man made a bold declaration that if you do not have the Lion’s Heart, you cannot have the Lion share and that makes me wonder about the identity of JESUS as a LION and the SHEPHERD and the believers as Sheep led by the same SHEPHERD who is also a LION.

Then I realised that JESUS is not a LION in order to torment HIS Sheep but to keep them safe from themselves and from the beasts and wolves that are lurking around the corner of the shadow of death and being the SHEPHERD is mainly for guiding the Sheep as they graze the true path to the HUSBANDMAN.

So when HE says HE overcame the world, HE was talking about the systems that are in place to bring leanness of soul to the Sheep and the principalities and powers that authored them; when HE said HE had saved the world, HE meant the people who are being driven by these systems. Even when HE turns on us as a LION, it is to destroy the remnants of the world’s systems that we have embodied and would not let go.

This same analogy of CHRIST is applicable to any man who desires to lead a life worthy of emulation and of praise to the LORD; a life that is taken control of by the HOLY SPIRIT.

Dynamics and Productivity

If you look beyond the exterior of a machine/machinery, you will find out that there is so much going on inside than what meets the eye on the outside. A layman would conclude that the machine is just a whole rigid system working solely just to bring out what is demanded of it . . .

But to the man given to understanding, it is evident by the way of investigation that there is more to that seemingly rigid system on the inside that meets the eye. Evidently, there are multiple components and systems that work together to achieve a single purpose the layman is seeing.

And in application to the real life, man has forgotten that whenever any of his systems shut down on the inside, everything goes out of balance and there is upset in the entire body. The society has forgotten that a man has something to contribute when given a fair chance of expression and that a society is like a megasystem that is comprised of multiple systems working together to portray an image to other neighbouring societies.

Man has forgotten that his spirit soul and body are not just separate entities that act whenever different scenarios come up; that spirituality, sociality and physicality all work together to form a complete man. The Church has forgotten that as a body of CHRIST, we are meant to edify each other with the gifts GOD has blessed us with.

It is this dynamics that will ensure productivity in every strata of life . . . How will man, society or church divided against himself be productive when he has abandoned the basis of productivity – Dynamics!

Open Your Mind; Guard Your Heart . . .

There is this interface between man and his environment (especially others of his own species) that must be viewed critically if one wants to live a fruitful and fulfilled life according to design. And it is the tripartite interface between the heart of a man, his mind, and his environment.

The mind being the media in this tripartite interface is responsible for the to and fro movement of knowledge and information between the heart and the environment and according to its name, it has judgements base on its own assessment. And naturally, it responds to the environment’s input base on its capacity to process and gives feedback.

But the heart is a more distilled part of this interface in that it takes in knowledge and information and process them to their core in order to get to the basics of the input before an output is provided. The heart is the centre of intention; the essence of man himself which is why it is imperative that it rules the mind which has a peripheral approach to the input though it may sometimes sound profound and reasonable to a large extent.

The best way to make fruitfulness out of this interface is when there is no to and fro movement between the mind and the environment alone i.e. when information or knowledge garnered by the mind from the environment is allowed to be processed by the heart first before passing through the mind on the way back to the environment as an output (response). The work of the heart is to process while the mind administers whatever the heart has processed adequately.

The heart is guarded by acceptance of what is pure and rejection of what is not before the mind can be opened for intake from the heart and out-letting it to the environment. The heart operates at a spiritual level for the word spoken by any man is a spirit but the real question is whether the word spoken takes root from the Spirit of GOD or the opposite.

Actually, the first input is from the environment to the heart and the output is from the mind to the environment: it’s a cycle of some sort; a continuous feedback between a man and his environment.

Fear Of Being Broke: Hindrance To Fulfilment

There is a common method of staying unbroke by many people and this method is that you should not quit your job if you do not have a sure and continuous source of income.

It is an ideology that has kept many people from moving forward to their purposed destination. The fear of thinking about how to manage the resources they have after leaving the former job. Many has forsaken faith by replacing it with calculations and forecasts; they are afraid of the unknown and unseen future. They forget so easily that so far GOD is on your side or you are really doing the right thing, you will be settled in any issue that tends to worry the mind . . .

The fear of being broke is what makes many stay on the path of unrighteousness even though they are quite aware of what they are doing. The fear of being broke is what makes one choose the better over the best because the best is only going to take from you rather than add to you. It is the fear of being broke that makes a man chase after ambition when his life-purpose stares him in the face . . .

The fear of being broke is like the love of money itself . . . It is the root of all evil whether it is benign or obvious!

Empty Empire

empty empire

Empire seems to be a very important word to use in any context and anyone associated with the word is always seen as great or important.

The real question is ‘what makes up an empire?’ To many, empire is a monumental edifice someone was able to build during his lifetime; to some, it is how multinational a business becomes from its onset till the present time; to some, it is even the amount of members and outreach a particular religious sect has been able to acquire.

But all these are just the superficial aspects of what an empire entails in the whole essence. An empire is supposed to be a transgenerational endeavour that crosses across race and generations and even religion. An empire is supposed to be an aggregate of many processes independently at first and then collectively for a common but greater goal than what each individual would have achieved independently.

Many people have built what they term as an empire but whenever they are no more, the same empire becomes empty and desolate. How is it possible for an empire so great to become desolate in no time? The reason is that whenever one entered the empire when it was, the first they encountered was the man of the empire. When a man centres himself as the pillar of an empire, it is a matter of time for the empire to crumble because no one will physically live forever.

The transgenerational status of an empire can only be ensured by making it about others and not one alone. If you build people instead of an empire, you are already building an empire not in the material or physical but in the hearts of men. What you stand for will definitely live on till you die and even way beyond your death. The only empire I choose to recognise and cherish is the one that has its bits and pieces (or mini-versions) in the hearts of men so that as they come together in twos and mores, more can be done to enforce, promote and protect posterity.

An empire that does not make people its component parts is an empty empire held together by a man who hired hirelings for the sake of making a name without any wise thought of posterity. When he is no more, the building will crumble like the holding elements have been washed away at once, and at the most, what will be left is an empire void of posterity because the people left behind are only functioning for the sole purpose of survival . . .

JESUS is a perfect example of a man who built HIS empire in the hearts of men!

Conquering To Save . . .

It is quite a contradiction when JESUS said HE had conquered the world and when HE proclaimed to be the saviour of the same world . . .

HIS walks and works among the people of the same world showed that the conquering HE was talking about was that of the heart and the saving was that of the spirit and soul . . . Those who follow HIM were first convinced in their heart before HE could actually take deeper than the superficial.

This is the same for believers in this present time: we must first conquer people before we save them. Our lives must make them to be convinced and try to emulate our lifestyle and it is then our responsibility to teach (save) them and make them fit into the new life they are convinced of . . .

The battle is between the prince of this world and the High Priest in heaven and the spoils of the battle is the people of the world involved. But unlike the system of this world, spoils to JESUS are the people HE desires to save . . . JESUS conquers to save while satan conquers to destroy. The conquering side depends on who the subject of war inclines his heart to; which is why we must win the hearts of men before we can save them.

Fool Applies Knowledge Too . . .

I have always endeavour to make my views ans opinions subservient to the Bible which is the accurate reference of the WORD of GOD. Whatever I think must be screened by the Spirit or the WORD of GOD.

In view of this, I discovered something concerning who a fool is . . .and I realised that everyone is knowledgeable up till the point of his exposure and it is what he uses this knowledge for that determines his foolishness wisdom.

From Books of Psalms and Proverbs, I realise that a fool is not only someone who is ignorant or lack knowledge but also someone who uses his knowledge in the wrong manner; he may get results that gratifies his desire or that people can see and hail him for, but so far the use of the knowledge is not for the original design or for the good of others as it is supposed to be, it is foolishness . . .

So there are many successful people who are foolish but people see them as wise ones. Wisdom celebrates the truth while foolishness paraded as wisdom celebrates results.

Knowledge is everywhere but wisdom can only be found in the establishment of the TRUTH as revealed by the WORD of GOD.

“Am I really utilising the knowledge I have for the right cause it was originally designed for?” that should be the wuestion in the hearts of people who have taken their time to garner/gather knowledge.
