SAINT’s FOCUS: Of Family and Tutelage

SAINT’s FOCUS: Of Family and Tutelage

“But you do not be called ‘RABBI’; for ONE is your TEACHER, the CHRIST, and you are all brethren.

Do not call anyone on earth your father; for ONE is your FATHER, HE who is in Heaven.

And do not be called TEACHERS; for ONE is your TEACHER, The CHRIST.”

Matthew 23: 8-10

Most of the deep teachings of CHRIST were for the Disciples’ consumption and edification. HE spoke many words to them and gave instructions and commandments they were meant to live by. It does not suggest or prove in any way that one is under the law when s/he has these instructions written on his/her mind and heart. The complete and diligent obedience to these teachings, instructions and commands are by all standards compulsory for our perfect restoration to GOD’s design.

CHURCH and NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: The RAISING

CHURCH and NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: The RAISING

There is no nation that the LORD almighty is not particular about whether they are defiant to His will or operating in the confine of the same. If the earth is the LORD’s and its fullness thereof, it means HE has His plans for everyone living in any part of this world. His will is far more than global as it comprises the processions in both Heaven and on Earth. His rulership spans beyond the whole universe that man has identified or not.

“The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.

Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness”

Hosea 5: 1012

GOD is a GOD of liberty . . . HE is always in the business and the mood to set people free from the ideologies and cultures that are holding them in captivity; and also from the oppression of the devil who is the father of all things evil.

31. JCH6: 28-35

To believe is what GOD is asking us to do before He gives us this Bread of Life. It was the Israelites’ murmuring in the wilderness that made GOD send down manna for them to eat. But the manna should not be kept till the next day for it would rotten/perish. Had it been that they believed GOD’s Words as spoken by Moses unto them without complaints, GOD would have given them the True Bread of life that can never perish.

25. JCH5: 15-23

This is the perfect example of Father-Son relationship. The only example of discipleship and fatherhood we should strive to follow always. It is a relationship based on love and trust. A relationship based on the equality as the goal of the discipler (CHRIST) and obedience and honour as the elements to be found in the life of the disciple (Saints). Though GOD had given CHRIST the freedom and authority to judge, CHRIST would not do anything except the Father approves. Whatever He said or did was a function of GOD’s heart per time. Although He also had things to say that were evidently from the same GOD yet He would not speak them until GOD gave the permission

22. JCH4: 43-54

The Galileans did not receive the testimony of CHRIST until they saw the wonder and miracles He performed in Jerusalem. They did not honour HIM by believing that He was truly sent from GOD as He was proclaiming all around Judea and Samaria. He was too familiar to them that they could not honour HIM by believing in His Words. They could not honour HIM until they saw what He could do and the power He wielded.

GODLY ETHICS: Grace and Truth

GODLY ETHICS: Grace and Truth

5. JCH 1: 14-17

The Word of GOD becoming flesh simply means that whatever GOD is saying is what we are doing; whatever He desires is what is happening in our lives. This was what happened to CHRIST when He was on earth! Whatever GOD asked Him to do was what He was doing even though He had the option of doing the opposite.

Glory of GOD simply means that whatever GOD says would happen in our lives actually happened or is happening.

The Grace of GOD simply means GOD’s empowerment that comes from our obedience and willingness in being on the same page with HIM.

The Truth of GOD simply means that we allow His Word to come to pass or to established in our lives for the world to see; and that people did not see HIM as a liar or take His Word for a lie because of our disobedience.

GOD’s Word is always the Truth but we can make it seem like a lie before people if we do not obey by doing accordingly. Being full of grace and truth means that we have the capacity to do and what we are doing with this capacity is what is needed to be done according to GOD’s design. GOD wants us to be embodiment of His word. He wants His Word to become what we live (our flesh: our nature) till we get out of this time. He wants people to see HIM in us.

It is as we establish His Truth through His Grace that He increases our Grace for another adventure of establishing His Truth . . . The status is the Truth while the stature is Grace, the conditions and criticalities of engagement may warrant increase in the measure of Grace but the status of Truth is not subject to change.

Oh CHRIST! Give me the Grace to uphold YOUR Truth in any circumstance that I find myself. Let YOUR Word be my priority that YOUR Grace may be abundant in establishing the Truth . . . for YOUR Word indeed is Truth!

2. JCH 1: 4-5

The life in this passage is the Life of GOD which can also be likened to Light . . . but the life of this world can only be likened to darkness. CHRIST came as the Light of men sent from GOD to show mankind the errors of their ways and the reality GOD wants us to live. Wherever territory or terrain CHRIST found Himself, He drove away darkness and exposed the evil that has found solace in it.
